SEATTLE : Lakewood Police Department Washington ,  Four police officers were gunned down in an execution-style ambush at a coffee shop in Washington on Sunday, triggering a manhunt for a convicted armed robber with a history of violence. Pierce County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Ed Troyer said the victims were sitting at a table in the cafe before their shift when a lone gunman entered and started shooting at around 8:15 am (1615 GMT) local time.

India test nuclear-capable missil e, BHUBANESWAR: India carried out its first nighttime test of a medium-range missile on Monday, a defense ministry official said. The surface-to-surface ‘Agni-II’ (Fire) missile — with a range of up to 2,000 kilometers — can carry both conventional and nuclear warheads weighing up to 1,000 kilograms, the official said on condition of anonymity in line with ministry rules. GUWAHATI: Twin Blasts Rock Assam’s Nalbari District; 4 dead, 25 injured , Two blasts rocked Nalbari district in Lower Assam on Sunday morning, in which four persons have reportedly been killed while another 25 have been injured.
