LAHORE: All Pakistan CNG Association closed over 700 CNG stations based in Lahore, Gujranwala, Sargodha, Okara and Sahiwal, saying if the government does not cave in to their demand, they would have to go to the court. Talking to Geo News, the President of All Pakistan CNG Association Ghayas Pracha said the CNG consumers along with the owners of the pumping stations will have to face severe hardships owing to the closure of the CNG stations, adding the inflation-plagued consumers would further be tamped down under additional financial juggernaut. KARACHI: Cotton spot rates of Karachi Cotton Association (KCA) jumped by Rs 150 to Rs 3,875 per maund on rising buying activity from mills and exporters, brokers said. Chairman, Cotton Broker Forum Naseem Usman said here that cotton had touched the peak at Rs 4000 per maund on Thursday on hectic buying from exporters, but declined on the rumours of a possible ban on cotton export.
